We went to a concert last night that we were taking a pass on — the price of tickets for a band playing in a tiny 2000 person hall was almost US$70 for 2 people. We’re not broke, but I didn’t see the value. Lucky for me, The Freaky Blonde won tickets on some radio show yesterday morning, forcing the issue without any debate from me. The show was not very packed, which was a surprise to me considering it was an all-ages show for 2 bands that usually pack houses much larger than this hall. Parking was over US$20 (compared to US$10 just 1 year ago). Read this entire article at the gold investment site.
