Gold — The world hungers in silence

I returned to the States this weekend after nearly 3 weeks away in Asia and Europe. I had highly expected to be writing from abroad, but the lack of decent Internet connections left me in silence — possibly a good thing as I spent more time out of the hotel in the thick of the markets and economies of every town I visited. I am amazed at the general lack of knowledge of gold and silver and paper money’s origins from nearly everyone I met — business people on the plane, the common man in the street, even the gold and silver dealers of the markets I visited.
